This wine is made from an indigenous Spanish variety called paraleta, which comes from the foothills of the Pyrenees in Somontano. Widely planted in Portugal and the Mediterranean, the producer decided to call the variety by it's Portuguese name, bonvedro. Black fruits and high-toned blueberries on the nose, juicy, silky tannins, amaro, blackberries and fresh black cherries.
