2015 base, disgorged in November 2018. The vines average 30 years in age, and there’s 7 g/L of dosage. Hand-harvested, natural yeast fermentation in barrel, 24-36 months sur lattes in the Bérêche cellar, and disgorgement was by hand. This is the kind of technical detail you would expect of a prestige cuvée and it shows in the quality of the wine. It’s a wonderfully textural, complex and energetic Champagne and a terrific introduction to the estate.
