Fontanassa Winery is nestled in Rovereto di Gavi, at the heart of the historical Gavi D.O.C.G. area in the charming town of Gavi. The first vintage in 1988 was a result of Marco and Roberto Gemme joining forces with oenologist Gaspare Buscemi. The 16th century fortified farmhouse, Fontanassa, was where it all began. Dating back to December 27, 1634, the estate's vineyards were shared by white and red grapes. Expect a straw yellow hue with hints of green, vibrant aromas of zesty citrus, grapefruit, and fresh cut grass, followed by a dry, crisp, and mineral taste with a lively finish.
